JC Heating Services was established by Jo Childs in 2007. He is the son of Malc Childs who was a heating engineer from 1958 to 1980. Jo has worked in engineering for 25 years, which included working for a boiler manufacturer on the road as a service engineer and working for BG Group in R&D developing a new combined heat and power boiler in the UK and 12 months in Japan.

 

 

In February 2023, Jo's son Jacob joined the business as an oil fired servicing engineer. As an OFTEC qualified engineer and a registered oil fired technician for pressure jet servicing, comissioning, oil tank and boiler installation, Jacob looks after the oil boiler servicing and maintenance side of the business.
